Hawaiian Studies LibGuide: Find Books, E-books, and Media

Basic resources for Hawaiian Studies 107 students.

Finding books, e-books, and media

  • Use OneSearch to find books and media (DVDs, videos) in the library or e-book and e-media (streaming video).
OneSearch searches for books, ebooks, media, and some of our databases. You can limit your results to just books and videos from the Campbell Library by selecting "This Library".

  • If you find a book that may be related to your topic, write down or text yourself the CALL NUMBER.
This is how you'll find the book on our shelves. Once you locate the book, check around that area because you may find more books about your research topic. If you have difficulty locating the Hawaiʻi-Pacific Collection, feel free to ask anyone at our Circulation or Reference desks.

  • Pay special attention to SUBJECT HEADINGS.
These work like hashtags and will help you find more resources related to your topic.

  • Found a book located at another UH campus?
We may be able to request it be sent to UHWO. If you need assistance with this, stop by the Circulation or Reference desks.
