This guide serves as an introductory guide to UHWO students enrolled in ENG 100 & 200 Composition courses.
The focus of this guide is on how to access library resources (books, e-books, scholarly journal articles, and electronic research databases). Many of these resources are RESTRICTED by license to UHWO students, faculty and staff only. If you are affiliated with UHWO, you can access restricted resources from any Internet connection whether in the library or off campus. If accessing any of the electronic databases from off-campus, you will need to log in with your UH username and password.
This guide is not comprehensive; it does not include all of the library resources that might be relevant to a particular topic. Please feel free to contact Alphie Garcia, Humanities Librarian, to schedule an individual research consultation for further help with your topic.
